Ferra could barely catch her breath around Kaiden in more ways than one. She was sitting on his lap, naked, and all she wanted to do was have him inside her once more.

For two days, she had stayed away from him, trying to sort out her feelings for the hardened warrior. It had been two days since he had last touched her, but in her dreams, he had touched her every night.

So she kissed him back, wrapping her arms around his neck and never wanting to let go. When she heard that Kaiden was in the sparring ring, her heart nearly stopped, and she hurried to get there, frightened that he was pushing himself far too soon.

What she saw was Kaiden cautiously pushing himself against his second-in-command, his movements fluid. Ferra had stayed out of sight, her heart hammering in her chest, as he repeatedly lunged with his sword. She imagined that his leg was throbbing at that point, but the way he was holding her, his leg was likely the last thing he was worried about.

When they broke the kiss, Ferra laid her forehead against his. “I missed ye too.”

His chuckle rumbled through them both. “Took ye long enough, lass.”

Ferra lifted her head and met his intense gaze. “Will ye love me, warrior?” she asked, her words surprising her.

He, too, was surprised, and Ferra felt his arm tighten around her.

“Aye, lass. I will love ye.”

Ferra smoothed her hand over his face, pushing his hair out of his eyes. “Then wot are ye waiting for?”

Kaiden growled, and his hands found her waist, lifting her until she was positioned over his cock. “Are ye sure, lass?” he asked softly.

She forced him to push her down, impaling herself on his member. “Aye,” she hissed, gripping his shoulder.

His hands tightened on her waist, and for a moment, they just stared at each other, letting Ferra adjust to his length. She had longed for this moment since the last time she had been in his bed, wanting him to want her just as much—and by the way he was reacting, he did want her.

His lips pressed to the curve of her shoulder, moving over her skin. “Och, lass, ye are so tight,” he whispered, each word like a balm to her very soul. “I’ve never wished for someone like I have for ye.”

“Kaiden,” she said, tightening her hold on his shoulders. “Mah husband.”

He pulled back. “Mah wife.”

Words couldn’t describe what Ferra was feeling at this moment, but she wanted more.

So much more.

“Move for me, Ferra,” Kaiden whispered, his hand coming up to grasp her breast.

So she did. Ferra rocked her body against him and built her own pressure, Kaiden’s kisses turning frenzy as she did so. “That’s it, lass,” he urged, his hands gripping her hips.

Ferra moaned his name as she felt the pressure increase, and when it got to the peak, she cried out, her body shattering around him. Kaiden grunted as he pumped into Ferra, the water sloshing around them from their movements.
